Abstract:
To provide a fastening ring for a metal drum, and a metal drum, such that internal pressure resistance of the metal drum is improved with a drum body and a top plate fastened with a bolt type fastening ring.SOLUTION: There is provided a fastening ring 100 for a metal drum that is fitted to an open metal drum which has a top plate 7 attached to and detached from a drum body 6, and needs to have internal pressure resistance, and fastens the drum body and top plate together by tightening operation by a fastening member, and has a band member 110 which is in a discontinuous circular shape, and fastens the peripheral edge parts of both the top plate and drum body, and first and second fitting members 2, 3 which retain the fastening member at the band member, wherein the band member has a top plate-side region 111 and a body-side region 112, and the top plate-side region has a deformation inducing part 120 which intentionally causes the top plate to deform at a desired place as the internal pressure of the metal drum rises.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
