To provide a classifying device which reduces a clearance generated between a guide roller and a conveyer roller in the turning time of the guide roller, and carries out the conveyance and the branching of the conveyed article smoothly.

While plural conveyer rollers 13 are arranged in the conveying direction along a conveying surface 18, plural guide rollers 15 are arranged in the conveying direction neighboring to the conveyer rollers 13. By lining up the guide rollers 15 in the plural lines in the crossing direction to the conveying direction, the length of the guide rollers 15 is reduced, the turning size necessary in the turning time of the guide rollers 15 is reduced, and the clearance between the guide rollers 15 and the conveying rollers 13 is reduced. By reducing the clearance between the guide rollers 15 and the conveyer rollers 13, the dropping down of a conveyed article to the clearance is eliminated, and the conveyance and the branching of the conveyed articles are made smooth.
