Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new classifier that can strengthen a downflow of a gas-particle flow and can separate large grain reliably, a vertical crusher with the classifier, and also a coal-fired boiler.SOLUTION: A classifier includes: a housing having a top wall and a circumferential wall, and also having a gas inflow port and a gas outlet more upward than the gas inflow port; a rotary classifying unit arranged in a housing, the rotary classifying unit that can rotate centering on a rotary shaft along a vertical axis and having multiple rotating vanes arranged in the circumferential direction of the rotary shaft; a fixed classifying unit in the radial direction of the rotary shaft arranged between the circumferential wall and the rotating vane and having multiple non-rotary vanes arranged in the circumferential direction of the rotary shaft; and a downflow forming unit positioned between the rotating vane and the non-rotary vane and mounted to a ceiling wall, and also having a truncated cone-shaped outer circumferential surface with an outer diameter gradually shrinking as approaching from the top to the bottom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
