PURPOSE: To classify and collect by means of the electrical movability of individual particle by gradually increasing the voltage of collection plate from the inlet side collection chamber of aerosol in the particle collection apparatus to the outlet side collection chamber.

CONSTITUTION: When the particles a1-an which are dispersed component of aerosol are precipitated and stuck to a body, the particles are collected on collecting plates 31-3n while being classified by using gravity force, inertia force and electrostatic force. Plural collection chambers A1-An connected in multistage are provided in a main body 1, and communicated with an inlet injection port 21 of the uppermost stage and the discharge port 7 of the lowermost stage, and the injection port communicated with plural neighboring collection chambers with each other. Particle collection plates 31-3n are disposed in the plural collection chamber so as to confront the injection ports 21-2n. And, plural voltage supply source 51-5n the voltage of which is optionally adjustable are respectively connected with the plural collection plate 31-3n. As a result, the dispersed particles of aerosol are classified and collected by the electrical movability.
