Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the titled clutch from knocking by a method wherein the titled clutch provided with a protruded part on one body and a recessed part on the other body of the clutch to be engaged with each other is further provided with another recessed part engaging with another protruded part on the clutch concave part. CONSTITUTION:The clutch of an onboard and outboard engine is formed of a pair of clutch protruded parts 20, 20 on one clutch body facing to each other i.e. an end of the driving side clutch body and a pair of clutch recessed part 22, 22 engaging with said protruded parts 20, 20 on an end of the driven side clutch body 19. In this case, a recessed parts 24 wherein the edge of the clutch protruded parts 20, 20 is inserted is formed on the bottom surface 25 of each clutch recessed parts 22 flowing after the power transmitting surface 24a as the contact surface with the clutch protruded part 20 in case of power transmission. Through these procedures, said clutch protruded parts 20 may be inserted into said clutch recessed parts 22 enabling said protruded parts 20 to move relatively only within the range of said recessed parts 24 preventing the clutch from knocking when said protruded parts 20 are inserted into said recessed parts 24.
