To provide a claw pole type stepping motor capable of improving accuracy of concentricity in ring-shaped pole tooth parts and suppressing variations in a gap between neighboring pole teeth in each ring-shaped pole tooth part.
A claw pole type stepping motor 1 comprises: first and second ring-shaped pole tooth parts 11 and 12 which are disposed to oppose a permanent magnet 6 on a surface of a rotor 3, and in which a plurality of neighboring pole teeth extending in an axial line direction of a rotary shaft 2 are made proximate to mesh each other and proximal end sides of the opposing pole teeth are connected in a ring shape, respectively; and coils 9a and 9b which are disposed at the outer circumferential side of the first and second ring-shaped pole tooth parts 11 and 12 and wound around an insulator member 8. A gap between the pole teeth which are made proximate to mesh each other in the first and second ring-shaped pole tooth parts 11 and 12 is filled with a mold resin A in the circumferential direction, and the first and second ring-shaped pole tooth parts 11 and 12 are integrally fixed.
