To provide a traditionally tiled roof which ensures sufficient durability and is lightweight.
The traditionally tiled roof is set up by alternately mounting titanium valley tiles 11 and titanium ridge tiles 12 in rows on sheathing roof boards 13. Each valley tile 11 is obtained by forming a titanium metal plate into a ship shape, and has arcuate rise portions 19 which are curved upward, and seamed grooves 21 which are each formed by folding down the tip of the rise portion 19 inward. Then a styrofoam backup materials are interposed between the valley tiles 11 and the sheathing roof boards 13 in rows. Further each ridge tile 12 is obtained by curving the titanium metal plate so as to have a semi-circular cross section, and has seam portions 28 formed at an opening thereof, so as to be engaged with and coupled to the seamed grooves 21.
