This cleaning apparatus 1 includes: a cleaning tub 11 having a clothes storage part 12 into which clothes being hung on hangers 10 with hook parts 10a are stored from above; hook support parts 36 supporting the respective hangers 10 of a plurality of clothes stored in the cleaning tub 11; a clothes attaching/detaching part 8 attaching/detaching the hanger 10 to/from each hook support part 36; and in-and-out control means for controlling the clothes attaching/detaching part 8 to put the clothes in and out of the cleaning tub 11 and to take the clothes out of the cleaning tub 11 based on a washing time set beforehand for every hanger 10 supported by each hook support part 36.
