Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the cleaning card which is used for easily cleaning of a reading head, is hardly degraded in a function to remove stains in spite of repetitive use and facilitates the passage of a reader and the simple process for production of such cleaning card.
CONSTITUTION: This cleaning card is constituted of only the non-woven fabric formed by interlinkage and dense contact of fibers with each other. The cleaning card has the many fine fibers of ≤ denier on its surface and has many spaces within the card. The particulates of the stains sticking to the surface of a reading head are wiped away by the fibers on the surface of the non-woven fabric when the surface of the non-woven fabric is moved in contact with the head and are rapidly taken into the inside space. As a result, the stains sticking to the reading head are easily removed and the removed stains do not stick to the surface of the card.
