To provide a cleaning device for the bottom of a water tank, capable of cleaning the bottom while avoiding agitation.
A moving truck 12 traveling on the bottom 17A of a water tank is provided with a cleaning means whereby deposits collected on the bottom 17A of the water tank are cleared in a single operation. In the cleaning means, a flow passage is formed inside the moving truck 12, a suction pump is provided in a part of the passage, and a filter film is provided at the terminal of the flow passage. By operating the suction pump, the deposits 30 are introduced into the flow passage together with in-tank water 28 and can be trapped by the filter film. By thus constructing a cleaning device 10 for the bottom of the water tank, a full cleaning operation can be performed inside a heat- storage water tank 17, and the bottom 17A of the water tank can be cleaned without breaking its temperature forming layer. Since the height of the moving truck 12 is lower than the boundary height of the temperature forming layer, breaking of the temperature forming layer by movement can be prevented.
