Abstract:
PURPOSE: To automate operation to change the position and direction of a brush device for cleaning guard-rails on both right and left sides respectively in a device cleaning the guard rails while traveling by a car.
CONSTITUTION: A guard-rail cleaning device is equipped with rails 3 mounted on the platform of a car in the horizontal direction and a slide base 4 moving along the rails. A brush device 7 born on the slide base 4 in a rotatable manner and a turning plate 8 are provided in the front and rear directions of the car. A turning actuator 13 of the brush device is born on the turning plate 8 through a holding spring 15 pushed against an operating direction of the turning actuator.
