Abstract:
To provide a cleaning device that can prevent a failure in discharging waste toner while preventing a failure in image formation, and an image forming apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: A cleaning device comprises: a housing; a cleaning blade; a toner conveyance path; a conveying screw; and a first flicker. The first flicker has a first base that is provided between a rotation shaft and the cleaning blade in the horizontal direction and a plurality of first contact pieces that extend from the first base and are in contact with a portion, which is below the rotation shaft, of an outer peripheral surface of the conveying screw, and presses the conveying screw with each first contact piece. The first base has a fixed part that is fixed to an inner wall of the housing and a blade opposite part that extends upward from the fixed part and is opposite to the cleaning blade in the horizontal direction. An elastic member is arranged between the cleaning blade and the blade opposite part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
