Abstract:
To provide a cleaning device which inhibits a cleaning fluid from being bounced back by air jetted from an air nozzle hole and can blow off the cleaning fluid adhering to a coating gun smoothly, and to provide a cleaning method.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 10 includes: a box body 20; a cleaning nozzle 42 which jets a cleaning fluid toward a coating gun 14; an air nozzle hole 541 which jets air toward the coating gun 14; and an eaves part 64 which protrudes toward a center axis of an insertion hole 31 farther than the air nozzle hole 541. A cleaning method of the coating gun 14 includes a cleaning step in which the cleaning fluid is jetted from the cleaning nozzle 42 to the coating gun 14. In the cleaning step, air is jetted from the air nozzle hole 541 to the coating gun 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
