Abstract:
To provide a cleaning method of a base for an electrophotographic photoreceptor that can remove an attachment (cutting oil, chip, and dust) on a surface of the base without significantly increasing a process related to base cleaning.SOLUTION: A cleaning method of a cylindrical base for an electrophotographic photoreceptor has a defatting process of defatting and cleaning the cylindrical base on which cutting processing has been performed, a drying process of drying the base, and an attachment removal process of removing an attachment by bringing an adhesion rubber material into contact with a surface of the cylindrical base. The attachment removal process is performed using the roller-shaped adhesion rubber material having a rotational axis parallel to a plane orthogonal to a central axis of the cylindrical base. The cleaning method of a cylindrical base for an electrophotographic photoreceptor is performed using a jig in which a plurality of roller-shaped adhesion rubber materials are arranged in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical base.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
