Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and surely remove cutting chip stuck to a pipe stock by making the cleaning speed in a cut zone of the inner peripheral surface different from that in the other zone.
SOLUTION: A cut part 1a is formed around the lower part of the pipe stock 1 and the pressure of high pressure water from a high pressure nozzle 3 is set to about 150-200 kgf/cm2 to completely wash out the cutting chip D generated at the time of boring by a cutting lathe in the cut part 1a. Because the zone except the cut part 1a of the inner peripheral surface of the pipe stock 1, where is a non-cut part (a), is soiled by the cutting oil or the like though the sticking quantity of the cutting chip D is small, the relative moving rate of the high pressure nozzle 3 in the vertical direction is controlled to be different in the zone except the cutting part 1a and in the zone of the cutting part 1a from each other.
