Abstract:
To provide a cleaning wiper which achieves excellent applicability and handleability by increasing the volume of the fibers for higher texture in the stage of the actual use for cleaning while making it compact with a limited bulking before use for cleaning.
A stringy fiber bundle 8 is formed by loosely twisting a plurality of long fibers 5 and a plurality of the fiber bundles 8 is fringe sewn on a fabric 4 to form a wiper 1. The fiber bundles 8 are so formed to be expandable in diameter by breaking the long fibers 5 so as to be separated from each other for cleaning while the long fibers 5 thus broken can be kept expanded in diameter without being persistently twisted to be returned to the initial position as a string.
