To provide a clear ink which allows recording of an image excellent in discharge stability, image clarity, and fretting resistance as a clear ink for inkjet.
The clear ink for inkjet, containing at least a polymer particle and a grafted polymer, is characterized in that the polymer particle has a core shell structure obtained by further polymerizing an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated hydrophobic monomer (b) as a core polymer in the presence of a shell polymer which is a copolymer having at least a unit derived from an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated hydrophobic monomer (a) and a unit derived from a monomer selected from α,β-ethylenically unsaturated acid monomers and salts thereof, and a unit comprises the grafted polymer contains at least a nonionic unit represented by formula (I) and a unit having a polysiloxane structure.
