Title:
TRANSMISSION REQUEST CONTROLLER IN LAN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3228573
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To implement the allocation control of a transmission line in response to the urgency of data by allowing each transmission control station to select data corresponding to the urgency and the transmission time among management list registration data at the time of the detection of a synchronous signal.
CONSTITUTION: A transmission control station 1 being a master station sends a synchronization frame to transmission control stations 2-N and sends a transmission queue Q3 including a data transmission allocation request frame and a transmission queue Q2. Then the stations 2-N receiving a token frame send the queues Q3, 2 at this time and update a management list L1. Each transmission control station receiving a data transmission allocation request of other stations updates a management list L2. When a main station receives the token frame and each station receives a synchronization frame, since the lists L1, 2 of each station are the same, data with high urgency are sent with priority as the entire system by sending the data to be sent in an earlier order than that of the lists L1, L2.
