To improve the pressing effect of a thumbtack and facilitate pulling thereof by solving the problem that when a poster or the like is fixed in position, a conventional thumbtack loses its fixing effect because a hole made in the fixed object becomes bigger by the needle of the thumbtack as time elapses.

By using an elastic material as the material of the head of the thumbtack, an object to be fixed in position is pressed by the edge of the head of the thumbtack, as shown in Fig.5. In addition, by virtue of the use of the elastic material as the material of the head of the thumbtack, the head of the thumbtack is inverted, as shown in Fig.3, Fig.4, and Fig.6, by pressing the head top part of the thumbtack.
