In a device retrieval client 111, attribute data belonging to an object class are extracted barred on a retrieval condition that an operator inputs, a device retrieval server 112 is inquired and a retrieval result is acquired. Then, attribute data of the device acquired from the retrieval result are preserved as a logical device. Also, a retrieval condition is extracted from the retrieval result which partly meets the inputted retrieval condition and is stored.
