To eliminate troublesomeness in installation of a cup for fixing an inner hold in a wall body for a climbing wall.

In a main climbing wall, a wall member 1 is formed of concrete, and its surface is set as a climbing surface F. By embedding cups 2 in the concrete, formation of recessed parts and fixing of the cups 2 can be easily performed. The cup 2 is provided with a protruded part 2 for preventing removal, so it is prevented from being removed even when pulling force is applied by a climber. A backlash of the cup 2 or a hold 3 installed on it can also be eliminated. A wall of a building or the like can thus be utilized to be the wall member 1. Irregularities can be more easily provided on concrete than on wood or steel.
