To surely receive a cord to a clip at a low cost by providing a circular crown part and a suspended leg part on a body made of metallic material, and providing a projection for receiving an elastic cord on the slot opening side surface of the former.
This clip 12 has a U-shaped metallic body 18, which is provided with a circular crown part 20 and leg parts 22, 23 suspended from both ends thereof. The leg part 22 has a forked structure having a pair of leg projections 26. When a slot is provided on the crown part 20 since the clip 12 forms a parallel assembly, and a cord 14 of elastic plastic material is inserted thereto, the cord 14 is pressed to the side walls 48, 50 and frictionally engaged therewith. A pair of projections 58, 60 are provided on the side walls 48, 50 to prevent the cord 14 from being separated from the clip body 18. According to the above structure, the assembly can be provided at a low cost through each station of slot punching, material cutting, clip formation, and cord insertion.
