Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a converter circuit which is simple-structured and has an ability to improve a power factor and a function to output the stabilized output without a ripple.
CONSTITUTION: The structure of a step-up converter is that an inductance element L is connected to a source of DC voltage through a first switching element 51 and a diode D1 and a first capacitor C1 is connected to both terminals of the source of dc voltage through a parallel circuit of a second switching element S2 and a diode D2 and a second capacitor C2 for output is connected to the source of dc voltage through a diode D3. The first and the second switching element S1, S2 are turned on and off complementarily to each other, a power factor is improved by inverse excitation of the inductance element L and control of the transmission of the excitation energy to the first capacitor C1, and the output is stabilized by reverse excitation of the inductance element L and control of the emission of the reverse excitation energy.
