The clip 51 for system ceilings is provided with a fixation part 502 and a regulation part 501. The fixation part 502 is used for fixing the clip 51 for system ceilings to the end of ceiling frame members 2A which are suspended by a suspension means and are placed side by side. The regulation part 501 is extended from the fixation part 502 along the imaginary line connecting between the opposed ends of the ceiling frame members 2A which are placed side by side, and regulates the movement of a ceiling plate 3 by receiving the side edge of the constructed ceiling plate 3. The length of the regulation part 501 is smaller than at least half the length of the spacing between a pair of ceiling frame members 2A. Since the regulation part 501 regulates the movement of the ceiling plate 3, the movement of the ceiling plate 3 caused by vibration or the like from the construction position between the ceiling frame members 2A to the wall side can be controlled, and earthquake resistance can be improved. Furthermore, the clip 51 for system ceilings can be easily attached to the end of the ceiling frame member 2A, thus improvements in earthquake resistance by a smaller amount of work can be achieved.
