Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve operability, to enable a stable clipping operation and further to easily reduce the diameter over the entire part of the device.
CONSTITUTION: This clipping device is provided with a balloon 12 which houses a clip 13 in an expanded state in the front end of an introducing pipe 11, holds the clip 13 in an expanded shape at the time of non-heating and operates to close the clip 3 by thermal deformation at the time of heating and a laser guiding optical fiber 14 for heating this balloon by irradiating the balloon with a laser beam.
