Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielding device in which shielding materials can be properly descended to the lowest position.SOLUTION: A shielding device for moving shielding materials 3, 4 by pulling a cord 10 comprises a damper 5 for braking the movement of the cord 10 which is driven accompanied by the movement of the shielding materials 3, 4. The damper 5 comprises a cord catch for gripping the cord 10, and the shielding device comprises at least either of following constitutions (1) and (2). (1) A constitution in which resistance between the cord catch and the cord 10 is reduced accompanied by the movement of the shielding materials 3, 4. (2) A constitution in which, in the cord 10, the cord 10 whose number is n being the cord 10 whose number is not smaller than 1 and not larger than n-1 out of the number of n is gripped by the cord catch, and n is a natural number not smaller than 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
