Abstract:
PURPOSE: To effectively utilize a toy clock, which is designed for children in a short growth period.
CONSTITUTION: A toy clock consists of a hand unit 4, a clock face unit 2 used in combination with the hand unit 4, and a clock mechanism to be used in place of the hand unit 4 and in combination with the clock face unit 2, where the hand unit 4 supports long and short hands with a frictional force that allows to turn these hands by a finger. The hand unit 4 and clock mechanism can be set interchangeably in an opening 1 provided at the center of the clock face unit 2. A total of 12 blocks carrying numerals for hour are separable from the toy clock. A combination of the hand unit 4 and clock face unit 2 is used for children to play with or learn how to read time, and a combination of the clock face unit 2 and clock mechanism is used for practical purposes.
