Abstract:
PURPOSE: To control a data flow by means of the clock that is supplied from outside.
CONSTITUTION: A clock synchronous C element C1 outputs a transmitting signal S1 of H level to a data latch DL1 and a clock synchronous C element C2 of the next stage synchronously with the rise of a clock signal CLK1 that is supplied after a transmitting signal S0 of H level is received. The element C1 also outputs a reception end signal A1 of H level. Then the element C1 gives a fall to the signal A1 before the next rise of the signal CLK1. Thus the data latch DL1 is latched. A clock signal CLK2 rises before the signal CLK1 rises again after its fall, and the element C2 has the same action as the element C1 synchronously with the rise of the signal CLK1. As a result, the element C1 of the preceding stage gives a fall to the signal S1.
