Title:
CLOCK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008304301
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a clock proceeding faster and a clock proceeding slower in comparison with usual clocks.

A fifth gear has a gear 5b meshed with the gear 4c of a step motor 4 and a shaft 5a which has a spline shaft 5c where the gear 5b is fixed and gears 5c, 5e which are axially movable to fit to the spline shaft 5a and are selectively meshed with fourth gears 6c, 6d. By meshing between the gears 6d and 5d, standard time is exhibited. By meshing between the gears 6c and 5e, time is exhibited faster than standard time. A knob 12b arranged at the outer side of the clock moves the gears 5d, 5e through a shifter 11. When time is set so as to exhibit a time of eight-hour later which is one-hour faster from actual seven-hour time-passage, training to perform a job for eight hours in seven hours can be executed. By setting the gears 5e, 6c to proceed slower than the standard time, we can enjoy the slow life in a leisurely manner.
