Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect trouble related to the jetting of air in the granulation of urea or the like.
SOLUTION: A plurality of air supply pipes 15 having outlets 13 jetting air to a granulation part 1 and nozzles 3 provided to the central parts of the air outlets of the air supply pipes to jet a molten raw material liquid such as molten urea or the like are arranged and the molten raw material liquid is jetted to the granulation part from the jet nozzles 3. In this case, orifice parts 14 are provided to the lower parts of the air supply pipes and orifice-after pressure taking-out parts 16 are provided on the downstream side of the orifice parts within the air supply pipes and an orifice-before pressure taking-out part 17 is provided on the upstream side of the orifice parts (a). The difference between orifice-before pressure and orifice-after pressure is measured and the clogging of the air supply pipes is detected from the abnormality of difference pressure of the air supply pipes. The supply of the molten raw material liquid to the air supply pipe showing abnormality in difference pressure is stopped and the quantity corresponding to the stop of supply is compensated by the remaining air supply pipes to perform granulation (b).
