PURPOSE: To prevent dust and dirt, if any in lubricating oil, from being carried along with it into a friction part by disposing a filter which is a netted member or the like to cover the lower end part of a main shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A filter 21, namely, a thin wire netting is placed at the lower end of a main shaft 4, covering it to prevent dust or other foreign substances, if any in lubricating oil 17, from being carried along with it into an oil orifice 4b inside the main shaft 4. In addition, the filter 21 has such an advantage that, it the level of lubricating oil is high, the rotor 7b of a motor is soaked into it so that the rotor, when turned, produces bubbles, but the filter may restrain the bubbles from directly flowing into an oil supply passage from the lower end of the main shaft. Oil may be prevented from being exhausted at a friction part so that a compressor can proceed high reliability.
