PURPOSE: To prevent a door from being left opened in driving a car by starting the running of a car in a half-latch state and operating a drive means to turn the latch from the half-flash state into a full-latched state, if a car speed sensor detects the running, and then closing the door perfectly.
CONSTITUTION: When a door opening operation in a full-latched state is halted on the way and the door comes to a halt in a half-latched state, the door is maintained in a half-latched position without operating a motor 30c for a closure with a half-latch detection switch turned on. Then, a car runs, which remains in the half-latch position. When a car speed sensor 16 detects the running of the car and is turned on, a discrimination circuit 40 discriminates the operation and controls the closure motor 30c in normal rotation mode and force the latch to be move from the half-latched position to the full-latched position, thereby closing the door perfectly. This construction makes it possible to forcibly turn the half-latched state to full-latched state of the door.
