PURPOSE: To achieve the accurate and invariable flowing of molten metal by closing the opening part of a fixed tube with a movable tube in the upper zone at the lower end of a working stroke and opening with a through-hole in the movable tube at the lower zone for flowing the molten metal.
CONSTITUTION: The opening parts 9, 10, 11 of the fixed tubes 3, 6 are closed with the movable tubes 6, 3 in the lower zone at the upper end of the working stroke A and opened with the through-hole 12 in the movable tubes 6, 3 in the upper zone for flowing the molten metal. The opening parts 9, 10, 11 of the fixed tubes 3, 6 are closed with the movable tubes 6, 3 in the upper zone at the lower end of the working stroke A and opened with the through-hole 12 in the movable tubes 6, 3 in the lower zone for flowing the molten metal. The opening part 9 of the fixed tubes 3, 4 is formed with at least two of individual opening parts 10, 11. These opening parts are arranged with the different intervals H1, H2 on the bottom 1 of a vessel. In this way, the quality of the steel obtd. from the flowing molten metal can be improved.
