Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for reducing the closing speed of a sliding window or door, wherein the apparatus is configured such that a compression force of a damper and an elastic restoring force of a tensile spring are sequentially applied in a predetermined section during the operation of closing a window frame. Thus, the window frame is prevented from slamming shut at high speed due to inertia, and the window frame can be easily closed using a small amount of force.
