To provide a cloth for an electric floor blanket highly effective in energy-saving without substantially changing the thickness of the blanket in comparison with a conventional electric floor blanket, and also to provide the electric floor blanket.

This cloth for an electric floor blanket comprises a nonwoven fabric or a woven or knitted fabric in which metal-clad organic fibers are included in an amount of 10-90 wt.% and is placed on the underside of the electric floor blanket. The cloth preferably is a laminate cloth composed of (A) a cloth layer made of a nonwoven fabric or a woven or knitted fabric in which metal-clad organic fibers are included in an amount of 10-90 wt.% and (B) a cloth layer made of a nonwoven fabric or a woven or knitted fabric each made up of organic fibers except metal-clad organic fibers, and is placed on the underside of the electric floor blanket in such a that the cloth A and B are located in the upper and lower positions, respectively. The cloth is fixed on the side of a position under the heating wire of the electric floor blanket.
