Abstract:
PURPOSE: To narrow the installation space of a cloth inspecting machine, to enable the cloth inspection in an easy and less fatigable posture and to carry out the cloth inspection in narrow sense and the detection of admixed metal piece (needle detection, etc.) with a single cloth inspecting machine.
CONSTITUTION: The cloth inspecting machine 1 is provided with a delivery shaft 7 to support a cloth 15, a folding shaft 21 to hang the cloth delivered from the delivery shaft 7 upward and turn the cloth downward to develop the cloth in the form having an inverted V-form in side view, a winding shaft 8 to wind the cloth 15 transferred from the folding shaft 21 downward and the 1st to 3rd motors 9, 10, 23 to drive the delivery shaft 7, the folding shaft 21 or the winding shaft 8 to transfer the cloth 15. A support plate 34 placed between the folding shaft 21 and the winding shaft 8 is provided with a metal detection sensor 44 to enable the detection of admixed metal pieces N in the cloth 15 over the whole width of the cloth 15.
