PURPOSE: To shape a cloth napkin placed on a napkin receiving table in a zig-zag from and enable it to be folded easily in the shape of unfolded fan, by mounting plural supporting rods on the opening of a napkin receiving table and a folded member is made to advance into the space between these rods from the upper side.

CONSTITUTION: Cloth napkin folded beforehand in 1/4 width by manual operation is placed on the opening 3 of a napkin receiving table in a concentric manner so as to block the opening 3. The cloth napkin is pushed into the space between respective supporting rods 4 while being push-folded by the lower end part of the napkin folding board 8 and folded in a zig-zag shape, by operating a lever 9 to push down a pressing board 8 against a spring 7. Thereafter, the lever 9 is operated to pull up the pressing board 6 and the napkin folding board 8 respectively. On the other hand, the zig-zag rim of the folded napkin is made to stand up so as to face the upper direction and the cloth napkin in the shape of unifolded fan is obtained by making both left-right ends on the upper end spread in left-right directions.
