PURPOSE: To improve operability by a method wherein a control and display part to set the temperature of a heat plate and an energizing time is mounted to an upper plate.

CONSTITUTION: An upper plate 14 to nip a cloth between a heater plate 11 and the upper plate is rotatably mounted on the heater plate 11, and a control and display part 15 to control and display the state of energization to the heater plate is situated to the upper plate 14 through a control device 12. The control and display part 15 is electrically connected to the control device 12 through a cable 16. In this case, since the heater plate 11 is arranged on the lower side, heat is apt to be transferred to a cloth placed thereon, heat efficiency is improved, and since the control and display part 15 is mounted on the upper plate, operability is improved.
