Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smoothly perform cutting a woven fabric of cross roll exchange without stopping manufacturing the woven fabric.
CONSTITUTION: In a full roll 4B transferred from a woven fabric rewinding position P1 on a weaving machine to a full roll temporarily placing position P2 on a temporarily placing carriage 13, by meshing a gear part of the roll 4B with a rotation impeding piece 28, rotation of the roll is impeded. The rotation impeding piece 28 is arranged to be switched by an air cylinder 27 to a full roll rotation permitting position separated from the gear part 4c and to a full roll rotation impeding position engaged with the gear part 4c. An empty roll supporting arm 20A is supported to a stand part of the temporarily placing carriage 13. An empty roll 4A is supported to a hand 20a in a point end of the empty roll supporting arm 20A, so as to rotate by an empty roll rotating motor 21. The empty roll 4A is rotated in a reverse direction to the woven fabric rewinding position, and a woven fabric W between the full roll 4B and the empty roll 4A is given tension in an unmoved condition. The woven fabric W between the rotation impeded full roll 4B and empty roll 4A is cut by a cutter.
