PURPOSE: To perform safe riding without paying attention to the twist of a clothe, such as a skirt, owing to strong wind by coupling a lock tool, locked to the frame of a bicycle, to a catch tool, locked to the clothe side of a rider, through a threadform member.

CONSTITUTION: A clothe twist preventing tool comprises a lock tool 2 locked on the astride type vehicle side, e.g. a bicycle and a motorcycle, a catch tool 4 locked on the clothe side of a rider riding astride the astride type vehicle, and a threadform member 5 for intercoupling the lock tool 2 and the catch tool 4. In the lock tool 2, a pair of half-ring members 2A are pivotally supported to each other on the base end side, and a snap mechanism is formed on the free end side of each half-ring member 2A to form openable structure. The lock tool 4 locked to a part of a skirt where there is a fear of a twist occurring comprises an unfoldable nipping tool having a pair of nipping plates 4A. The threadform member 5 has a regulatable length and is maintained at a given length after regulation by means of a lock band 6.
