To effectively remove pollens adhered to clothes while saving power.
A pollen removal dedicated operation course is provided. When this operation course is selected, and the operation is started, heating by a heater is not performed, and a motor is driven in a manner to be alternately rotated at 10O0 rpm and 1400 rpm for every 30 sec (S21 to S26). At the time of a low speed rotation, a drum is slowly rotated, and clothes in the drum are lifted one by one, and then, dropped. By these motions, pollens having entered gaps of the fibers of the clothes are lifted to the surface under a state just like being lightly beaten, and the pollens scatter. Then, at the time of a high speed rotation, an air volume which passes the inside of the drum increases, and the pollens which have scattered from clothes before and reside in the drum are quickly carried and collected by an electrostatic filter. In this operation course, since the heater is not operated, the consumption power can be kept extremely small.
