To provide a clothes dryer which performs an optimum drying operation without causing uneven drying of clothes.
A clothes dryer includes: a first humidity sensor 10 provided in an air supply passage 6 communicating with a rotary drum 2; a second humidity sensor 11 provided in an exhaust passage 7; calculation means 12 connected to the first humidity sensor 10 and the second humidity sensor 11; blowing amount control means 15 for controlling the blowing amount of drying air; warm air temperature control means 17 for controlling the temperature of drying air; and control means 13, which is connected to the calculation means 12, for controlling the drying operation. The control means 13 sets the blowing amount and the temperature of drying air according to a change in the difference between the first humidity sensor 10 and the second humidity sensor 11 detected by the calculation means 12.
