A clothes dryer includes: a circulation air path 21 which introduces drying air to a rotary tub 4 which is provided rotatably; blowing means 26 which blows air to the circulation air path 21; dehumidification means 31 which dehumidifies the drying air that comes out from the rotary tub 4; heating means 29 which heats the drying air that is dehumidified at the dehumidification means 31; a dry filter device 25 which captures lint included in the drying air; lint removal means 38 which removes lint that is captured at the dry filter device 25 from the dry filter means 25; a lint housing chamber 41 that houses lint removed at the lint removal means 38; and lint powdering means 40 which powders lint in the lint housing chamber 41 by water flow.
