Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a reduction in effect of steam due to dehumidification means.SOLUTION: The clothes dryer includes: a steam generator 85 that generates steam; a steam generation port 89 for supplying steam into a rotary drum 5; control means that controls operations of a motor, heating means, dehumidification means, and the steam generator. The control means performs a blowing step for activating the motor to send air into the rotary drum between a steaming step for activating the steam generator to supply steam into the rotary drum and a drying step for activating the heating means and the dehumidification means to dry clothes in the rotary drum. Thus, steam jetted into the rotary drum can be persistent without being dehumidified and effects of steam such as a reduction in wrinkles of clothes can be exerted.
