Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes dryer capable of easily and effectively performing cleaning for removing lint captured by a lint capture part, in the clothes dryer in which a filter having the lint capture part in an air passage communicating with a drying chamber is provided.SOLUTION: A clothes dryer includes: a water tub 2 and a rotary tub 4 (drying chamber) for accommodating clothes; an air passage 20 provided by being communicated with the drying chamber; a fan 22 for passing air in the drying chamber into the air passage 20; and a filter 21 which is provided in the air passage 20 and which has a lint capture part for capturing lint from the air passing into the air passage 20. The lint capture part of the filter 21 has hydrophilicity. Thereby, by hitting flowing water to the lint capture part, the captured lint can be washed off from the lint capture part, so that cleaning for removing the lint captured by the lint capture part can be performed easily and effectively.
