Abstract:
To achieve a clothes dryer which suppresses charging of clothes at the drying time, which can always accurately detect a drying state of clothes, which can perform efficient and proper drying, and which has excellent energy saving properties.SOLUTION: A clothes dryer includes: a rotary drum 2 for storing clothes 4; a rotation auxiliary unit 8 disposed in the rotary drum 2; a motor 3 for rotationally driving the rotary drum 2; a control unit 13 for controlling a drying operation; and a dry detection unit 10 for detecting the dryness of the clothes 4 in the rotary drum 2. The dry detection unit 10 is constituted so as to detect a resistance value between a pair of electrodes, and includes an electricity-removing device 19 for removing electric charges generated in the clothes 4 in the rotary drum 2 during a drying operation. Thereby, the clothes dryer can be achieved which suppresses charging of the clothes 4 at the time of drying, which can always accurately detect a drying state of the clothes 4, which can perform efficient and proper drying and which has excellent energy saving properties.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
