Abstract:
To provide a clothes drying machine with a heat pump for drying the clothes, capable of preventing the temperature of a condenser and the pressure of a refrigerant on the high-pressure side in the latter half period of the drying operation from becoming preset values or higher, and capable of increasing the speed of temperature rise in a drying chamber in the initial period of the drying operation. Outside air is introduced during the drying operation from an outside air intake disposed at an area between a place where an evaporator is disposed and a place where the condenser is disposed in a ventilation path, so that the temperature of the condenser and the pressure of the refrigerant on the high-pressure side in the latter half of the drying operation will not become preset values or higher. As a result, it is not necessary to reduce the labor of a compressor, and therefore, a high drying performance can be achieved in the clothes drying machine. By making a PTC heater provided at the outside air intake generate heat in the initial period of the drying operation, outside air can be introduced into the ventilation path while heated by the PTC heater. Accordingly, the speed of temperature rise in the drying chamber can be increased in the initial period of the drying operation, and therefore, the drying operation can be finished early.
