Abstract:
To provide a clothes iron with safety measures for fire and human body protection.SOLUTION: A cloths iron 1 comprises: an illuminant 33 that emits light using supplied electric power; a base face 5 through which light from the illuminant 33 transmits; a detector 29 for detecting temperature of the base face 5; and a controller 23 that controls output of the illuminant 33 according to the temperature detected by the detector 29. The detector 29 has: a control sensor 35 for inputting the temperature of the base face 5 to the controller 23; and a cut-off sensor 37 for cutting off the power supply to the illuminant 33 when an abnormal temperature of the base face 5 is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
