To provide a packaging material for clothes cover and a cover for clothes in which they have an appropriate transparency although its major component material is paper, they have abreathable characteristic as well as a water repellent characteristic, the clothes can be packaged safely without being damaged, their recycling can be carried out to attain saving in natural resources.
A soft and thin paper 1 having a breathable characteristic is coated with and impregnated with a mixture liquid containing one kind of or several kinds of paraffin wax emulsion, an olefin resin solvent and a fluororesin solvent acting as a transparent finish agent and one kind of or several kinds of vinylacetate solvent, an ethyleneacetate vinyl solvent, a latex resin solvent, an acrylic resin copolymer solvent and a natural rubber resin solvent, and finally dried.
