To provide a clothes treatment apparatus capable of efficiently feeding steam to clothes.
The clothes treatment apparatus includes: a housing tub 200 for housing clothes and a steam feeding mechanism 300 for feeding steam to the housing tub. The steam feeding mechanism 300 includes: a steam generator for generating steam; water feeding means 330 for feeding water to the steam generator; and temperature detection means for detecting a temperature of the steam generator, and is provided with control means for controlling the steam generator, the water feeding means, a series of washing, dewatering and/or drying operations. The control means determines presence or absence of a feed of steam on the basis of the first temperature detected by the temperature detection means in a state where the water feeding means is not driven and the second temperature detected by the temperature detection means in a state where the water feeding means is driven.
